Telling match for both teams , although they haven’t beaten any contenders this year yet, they would love our scalp.
Would not be such a big scalp seeing we are without 3 vital players.

    I expect to win.

I hope we flog the dirty ****s and Ricky has a big cry in the press conference.
I'm sure Dicky Stupid will have plenty to say about the refs after we smash em. The reason being he always does bag them. He's a master whinger.

Would like to see us and the Storm win to claim outright second with four more rounds to go.

Have you rung Rickie to wish him all the luck?

I don’t think he will, but I am worried about him being targeted by the Raiders’ forwards such as Papali or Bateman.

I’ve expected to win in Canberra more than once in 10yrs, but that hasn’t happened, always think we should though.

Getting beat down there this weekend, could well mean having to play down there again in 4 weeks time !

Maybe, but Canberra have a tough draw. If we lose this weekend (especially if we lose by not many) and win the next four we probably come second. If we win this weekend we are in the box seat to come second, even if we were to drop another game.

A statement will be made on Sunday to the rest of the teams in the mix. No excuses. This is our biggest game of the season so far and will be the foundation for our run into the finals.
I wonder how we'll go now that we're aware they're doing alright on the ladder.

Just a gut feeling but I reckon that we've lost a lot of games in Canberra coz they niggle while we don't really give a stuff (and have no reason to study their game plan because they're no gonna make the 8). Now they're top 4, I hope we go in with a bit more purpose.

They still have Melbourne away. I would still think we can come second but if we win it makes a bird of it.

if we respect our possession and play to our potential the ten year hoodoo will be broken. But as Rooster6 has pointed out earlier they are the masters at interrupting the attack and slowing play. Hodgson was all over the ball stealing last time we played them and did catch Tupou unawares. But from memory he did cop a couple of penalties too. Batemen excels here too.

Our backs can expect the sly Rapana style knees in the back and we just have to play tough, without getting too drawn into their gamesmanship. We do have a clear advantage in the halves and my only worry re bad luck in Canberra is injuries. We've had little luck in that department. And it was the scene of our greatest ever defeat in the 90's. But this time we have a side like the Canberra of old and I don't think they do. So let's give them some.
