We haven't won there since 2010 and before that was 2004.

            Coming second is very important.

The eventual premiers have overwhelmingly finished at 1 or 2.

Just a gut feeling but I reckon that we've lost a lot of games in Canberra coz they niggle while we don't really give a stuff (and have no reason to study their game plan because they're no gonna make the 8). Now they're top 4, I hope we go in with a bit more purpose.
We will mate, this is real now.

Not confident especially in Canberra but hopeful.

This is exactly the worry and I smell trouble. Crokers 250th game, the fact we have not won at Bruce since 2010 or 11; the fact they need to beat a top 4 side and we are down on personnel all spells a potentially very tough afternoon. If we go in as named 1 to 17 we have 4 very inexperienced players and this will be a hostile cold and hard place to play footie. The raiders are in form, are tough and get under your skin.

i hope we rise to the occasion and win well, this is the day to stake our claim for 2019.

PS on Ricky Stuart, a lot of members have given sticky a bad rap. He is a polarising figure, but he coached our mighty club to its first premiership in 27 years and for that he deserves our respect.

Unlike most weeks I don’t expect to win this one. It’s a 50/50 game. But if we play them in Sydney in the finals we will murder them.
