  • Symonds being offered up for Mortimer

We must be offering Symonds up as a straight swap for Mortimer.

Both duped Clubs into signing long term deals with the next big thing

Interesting Big Morls. What have you heard about this? IMO Symonds was a disaster last year. I don't know what injuries he was carrying throughout the season if any but he was bad. I don't think many of us could find a place for him in the top 17, even 25 at the moment. I say if we can get rid of him then great but swapping him for Mortimer doesn't sound like a very beneficial deal.

So once again, if you aren't injury free and consistently at top form by the time you are 21 then you are on the scrap heap and should be dumped.

Sounds pretty short sighted to me.

I havent heard anything about it but Parra were chasing Symonds and he had one good game and we gave him three years and he looked completely lost in first grade.

If Parra want him they can have him and we will have their stool pigeon

Mate I hope you are right. I just don't hink he has shown much and personally I don't see that much potential for improvement. I hope I am wrong and he becomes a superstar. Its just that in my opinion he doesn't look like much, thin, not big, not small, not real quick, averrage workrate, plenty of mistakes. Also considering the balance of the pack I don't think we need him.

I remember him producing a line break pretty much every game he played until his injuries..

Let's see how he goes the next couple of years.

Tom Symonds has it, if he can stay injury free he will play well.
HE is the sort of kid we need and want at the club, so hopefully he will produce

Symonds has failed to deliver after round 1, 2011.

he had a good first game V Souffs and 2010... The Crappola for rest of year

I would still give him a chance.. If he doesnt perform in '12 bye bye

Like Mitchell, Mortimer has been black listed from first grade and if he can find a contract elsewhere Parra would be more than happy to release him.

Symonds should be playing five eighth or on the right fringe with someone giving him decent ball.
