James Tedesco’s family has reportedly consulted lawyers over parts of his NRL contract.
Channel 9’s Danny Weidler reported on Wednesday the NRL integrity unit has also spoken to the Roosters about the contract, specifically some third-party deals.
The deals are allegedly related to Tedesco’s former manager Isaac Moses - considered one of the most powerful agents in rugby league.
“It relates to some third-party deals that were done by his now-former agent Isaac Moses,” Weidler said.
“Roosters officials have been talked to by the integrity unit, questions have been asked about the validity of the contracts and who knew what about the deals.
“Tedesco has done nothing wrong and the Roosters are not under some kind of salary cap investigation, they are co-operating.
“Tedesco’s family have approached lawyers about the matter, they are unhappy about elements of the contract.
“There may be broader issues that Moses is facing. A number of players have left his stable after a company split.”
Tedesco declined to comment when contacted by Channel 9, while Moses was unable to be contacted.

Typical Weidler a story about nothing. He delivers a very broad brush of information and then lets the punters make up the rest of the story.
Let's not forget Isaac Moses is not a friend of Phil Gould or Nick Politis. The only thing I get out of it is that Teddy has found out what a low life Issac Moses is and so the grub is now trying to make trouble.

This is bad.
Very, very bad.
We don't need this shyte.
Some of the mud will stick no matter what happens.
All 3rd party contracts a player signs have to be registered with the NRL via the player's club?
Our club officials saw the 3rd party contracts? and registered them with the NRL?
Or was Teddy's third party contract in force before he came to the Roosters?...even so, everything should've had to be declared to the new club and ok'd with the NRL?
All this needs clarifying by our club and the NRL.
There must be NRL rules/regulations that have to be followed and policed.
What's going on?
Anyway, they can't take last year's premiership away from us.Last edited by bondi.boy; 08-14-2019, 09:43 PM.

It was a double edged sword for Nick.
Previously he had had ruled out ever dealing with Moses back when negotiating with his nephew Mitchell (phew).
Then Nick has the chance to land Tedesco, yet had to reneg on his own ban on dealing with Isaac Moses.
Nick relented, James signed, Roosters 2018 premiers. Win
Now Nick would be furious that he ever dealt with Isaac. However we have the games best player
..it’ll be interesting to see
