Thought the exactly same thing, posted about it in the game thread yesterday, whether it was all the support he had received about the online racial abuse or possibly settling his future who knows but he looked the most settled on the football field he has been for quite a while.

Yes. Definitely! Kissing the jersey on the way to his second try says something one thinks. Then the celebration with Toops when he scored. Plus after the game the contact with the Chookpen. Don’t want to get too excited before little actions like that suggest his heart is with the Chooks and he might be about to re-sign. Fingers x.

Great news , a well deserved honour to become ( eventually) most games played for roosters. Who would’ve thought the club called the “transit lounge” at one stage will have 3 triple centurions whilst the grubs who claim they’re the pride or some crap like that have only ONE !
I look forward to celebrate Cordner’s 300+ games and if I’m still on this earth , celebrate Lattrell’s 300+ games for us.

It's what he brings to the club on and off the field and within the playing group. I remember saying to a mate before the 2010 grand final, 'give me 13 Aubussons and we win the comp'. We didn't have them but he's covered every position except prop since. A proud clubman who embodies what the jersey and the game is all about.
