What we do better than any other side in the league is conserve energy whilst defending, the Warriors blew themselves up with their 4 to 5 man gang tackling and ruck spoiling tactics - worked well for about 30 mins then they were outta juice on a dry, fast surface. You'll often see our defensive line in place onside before the tackle before is completed, this does make us vulnerable to giving up metres on the late offload but it also makes us very hard to cleanly break through the middle. Most of our tackles will be 2 or 3 defenders, the odd 4 man tackle will occur if we are looking to dominate or slow the ruck down. We look the freshest team in the competition even with 3 starters (arguably our 3 most consistent forwards the past few seasons) being out injured, which is a credit to the coaching staff who have strategically rested players throughout the season even when it may have led to disappointing performances and/or losing. The only question mark left related to Robbo is selection and usage of the bench, he's stubborn in he believes in picking the best 17 players no matter their position - that means we could be seeing a Ryan Hall on the bench over a Verrills when everyone has returned.

NB. Would Trent have the same success somewhere else, say a former powerhouse like Canterbury or Parramatta?
although both would of run the clubs differently and would of bought players that suit them, so they would probably been better off.
