  • RTS loves Teddy

    Didnt copy the whole interview
    Still loves the Chooks
    Loves watching Teddy
I reckon he know it -shouldve stayed.
Never forgave him for leaving but he made a good comment so can forgive
Tuivasa-Sheck says he doesn't watch a lot of games on television, unless it's his old club the Roosters where he enjoyed four seasons including the 2013 NRL premiership, where he played on the wing.

The other reason he watches the tri-colours is fullback James Tedesco.

"Roosters are my old team, full of some of my best mates, so I do watch them. And you can't miss Tedesco – he's beautiful to watch," the 26-year-old fellow fullback said.

"Since I constantly watch footy throughout the week, with video sessions and analysis stuff, I hardly watch the games at the weekends.

"But when the Roosters are playing I do follow the old boys. And Tedesco is my favourite player this year, no question."

Let's not forget Tuivasa-Sheck was also 2018 Fullback of the Year along with Player of the Year.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Its funny how things work out

when RTS left people were freaking out and it all depended on a young 17 year old coming through to take over in Latrell, but then we got Teddy and what a player he is

Same for Jennings leaving, but now Latrell and Manu have owned those positions

Likewise Maloney, now we have Keary
      etc

Probably a lesson in all that when player retention keeps coming up in conversation

Trust in the system and robbo, players will come and go...as long as they win a prem or two before they do

True to TIT, but I think luck and timing played a big factor in signing cronk, keary and tedesco.

Agree, but you have to be in a position cap wise when those chances pop up, and you have to be a club that people want to come to - and this is why we have those 3.

And having a rich Uncle helps.

Just thought the other day while watching Roger. We should sign him and play left and right fullbacks. Revolutionise the game

              Like soccer??

RTS is a complete package-both on and off the field. It was a real shame when he left but he was offered a fortune....he couldn't say no. Id love to see him back at the Roosters one day

Sounds as good as Anderson's "one marker" revolution.

Honestly, his game was incomplete. Basically he had a mad step and a great instinct for the game but we had a development plan for him. I reckon he coulda been a lot better if he'd stayed and committed to it.

Instead, Tedesco's way better than him. Go figure. Doubt he cares given the $$$ he's earning. Me's now had more than 5 years on ~$1 million a year (in NZ - money goes way further)... him and his family will never have to worry about their bank balances again. Also, he's still an awesome player who could get a gig anywhere. Even if it's a downgrade with no captaincy, he played the game really well. Had he taken the $500k, he woulda halved his pay and reduced his future value.

Good on him and I wish him all the best. IMO we got a better deal with Teddy and Latrell though. I don't care how good RTS' left (or was it right?) foot step is... Latrell + Teddy move the ball around quicker, have way more power than RTS' little body (Latrell's palming and shearer-style tackles will never be part of RTS' game) and both can step all over the place (the jizz flowed the other week when Teddy's dacks fell down, exposing his Italian thinga-ma-jings).

Can't see RTS and Teddy in the same team. Given the choice between the two I'd take Teddy every day of the week.
