  • Latrell: Most Points and Most Tries in a season

He said he wanted to claim both awards at the start of the season. A try double would just about seal it. Would be the first player in 29 years to do it. He can. He will

Give him good, clean, early ball. Go son
Latrell Mitchell has continued his stunning point scoring record at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with 10 points in the Roosters 22-6 victory over the Panthers.
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

He's assured of top point scorer. Hope he gets the double.

SKD equal top (with Uate from knights) in 2010 on 21 tries each.

Equal with Tafua and The Wolfman.

Good one, but when people talk about all the meat pies that Artie scored - they're actually talking about pastries.

Saw some stats on Nines page that are interesting.

Tedesco, who leads the NRL in line breaks (24), run metres (187 per game) and tackle busts (115)

The Roosters will finish second regardless of the result, meaning they have finished in the top two in six of seven seasons under Robinson.

Well done to both James and Trent

                          STATS THAT MATTER

                          * The Roosters have won five of the past seven games against the Rabbitohs

                          * The Rabbitohs concede the equal fewest penalties (5.6pg) along with North Queensland yet earn the equal second most (7.3pg)

                          * The Roosters have the second worst completion rate in the NRL (73 per cent)

That's been improving a lot over the latter part of the season. It was up near 90% last week.

Do the try-scoring and points-scoring stats just apply to the regular season? I though they counted finals points too...

Skinny Byrne - I have no idea but I would imagine Skinny was over achieving if he scored half the amount of tries as the top try scorers in any year he played. God love him he played over and above his weight and ability - all heart.
