Latrell: Most Points and Most Tries in a season

Lot of rumours doing the rounds saying Latrell is seriously considering a $1million offer from Souths. A while back I would have said he was worth that sort of money. Now I am not so sure. He drifts in and out of games. One game this year he gave 100%. To many times he doesn’t. Don’t get me wrong. I love Latrell and hope he stays but I think someone who expects that sort of money should be giving 100% every game. Players like Teddy, Coops, Keary, Aubo and Cords do.

Agree , hope he stays but not worth chasing for that sort of money.

Totally agree. Latrell is one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen but he can be quite lazy off the ball at times.

Worth $1m if he’s consistently putting in 100% but hasn’t been doing that this year.

We're playing Souths in a big game, so any rumour that he's leaving us for them is worth nothing in my book.

Considering it’s illegal for anyone to even make him an offer before November 1, I doubt there’s much voracity to that rumour.

Other teams can talk to him. They just can’t sign him before November 1st. Don’t kid yourself and think it’s not going on because it is. Like I said before, I hope he stays but just the fact he hasn’t resigned by now and is waiting until November makes you wonder.

yep Latrell was ordinary last week I agree. We were all ordinary in attack last week in the second half. Zero spark we missed Keary. In saying that Lats was only marginally off winning the game for us in the first half - two tries he should have scored would have put it to bed in the first forty and the second would have been a different story. He missed those two opportunities so marginally, it’s a game of inches so he wasn’t so far off. I think the points tries double distracted him to be honest.

He will have a big one tonight I think with that out of the way and Keary back is a huge in. Hutch tried to play like Keary last week and was just that fraction slower at everything he did comparatively to Keary - running passing kicking and decision making as a result that left side looked ordinary.
