The problem with JWH tackle was at the last moment he pivots his shoulder into the tackle, even though his shoulder doesn't make contact it was his upper forearm.
If you look at all the charges JWH has this year they have all been borderline much like this one tonight.
The loading will kill him, any charge and he could miss two games, which will put him out for the year.

Knight was falling back into the tackle and he copped the lower part of Jared’s arm... it’s not like Jared can make his arm disappear all of a sudden. As for Tetavano, well that’s just tackling a player without the ball front on. Had Doughie had the ball it would have been an excellent tackle. Penalty is sufficient.

Yeh I think JWH has a pretty good case, his arm was tucked right into his body. It's not like he left his arm out there or gone searching.

That usually for late or cheap shots, never seen a charge for suspicion, but roosters will make it a first.

How good was Lindsay.

I'm not sure Robbo has enough trust yet to play him in the finals series but he will defintiely get more minutes next year.

Nothing to answer for JWH as the trauma for the tackled player was a head clash with another defender during a regulation tackle .That's footy, it's a collision sport.

Robbo just said Maubs has an ankle injury and wasn't rested tonight, Morris also ankle injury and not rested, both should be right to go next week.

SST is an interesting one would hope he is right to go with pain killers, Robbo didn't sound as certain about him playing next week.

Not a bad performance from the Rabbitohs considering they were missing Braiden Burns, James Roberts, George Burgess and Tom Burgess. They'll improve a lot.

If memory serves me correctly JWH has 55 carry over points from the Dogs game which would mean a grade 1 dangerous contact charge would see him out next week.

A grade 1 carless high tackle is just a fine, fingers crossed this is what he gets (if anything).
