The way Mini played at the end of the season he has one more year left in him, time to find/train his replacement.
The "New attitude, New beginning" ship still has a way to sail, one more year with captain Anasta at the helm should do it..

Dissappointed with this. I thought Ryles would be the perfect person to bring along players like Kennedy, Evans, Tasi, JWH and Mosoe.
That said, if keeping Ryles meant letting one of the aforementioned go, then we have done the right thing. Its a very young front row rotation next year though. Most front rowers don't hit their straps til their late 20's.
I hope that Kennedy's ankle are OK. You would assume the club checked this before letting Ryles go...

Smith wanting both Anasta and Mini gone is the biggest pile of dribble I have in a long time.
Love or hate what they are doing, Smith doesn't want them both gone, never did.The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

It's funny that those that keep bringing up Ryles' ill discipline stay ignorant to the fact that he is far from our worst offender. From memory Friend and Myles racked up the most penalties this season. JWH can't be that far behind either. As for errors - Ryles has only committed 7 this whole past season.
FFS at least back the claims up with stats.
Now for the infamous - "but it's the tiiming of his penalties" line.
Ryles was our best forward by a country mile these last two seasons. Not only in eating metres but with his defence. It's a shame that because he doesn't put big hits on, his hard work goes unnoticed.

It staggers me how the club cannot justify paying a proven performer, yet has no hesitation in keeping FPN, Anasta, Mini on decent coin.
I'd give him all the money the three of them hold up because week in and week out Ryles gets through more work than all of them combined.

I agree that this seems to be a very poor decision. Ryles was great in 2010. For the first half of 2011 he was poor and many, including myself wanted him gone. However, throughout the second part of the season his form was outstanding. Surely he was not on massive dollars anyway. I can only think this has to do with the fact that we are about to announce the signing of SBW. We would have been much better off saying goodbye to FPN.

He adds a lot of experience that we need.
Big mistake that will come home to roost.
