However, throughout the second part of the season his form was outstanding. Surely he was not on massive dollars anyway. I can only think this has to do with the fact that we are about to announce the signing of SBW. We would have been much better off saying goodbye to FPN.
    Didn't he start 2011 with a back problem ?

If his 2012 was going to be anything like his 2011 then most people on here would have been calling for his head by round 6. Yes he was brilliant at the end of the year but so were JWH, Mose (albeit in short spurts), and Tasi. If Kennedy can come back next year and perform as well as or better than Ryles did late last year our forward pack will not have lost anything. And the club will have gained the ability to resign both Tasi and JWH to long term contracts, which is far better than Ryles for one more.

Although Ryles improved on his conceding of penalties late in the year I've always though it would be interesting to see aggregate metres gained/loss which included metres given up by players that give penalties away (metres lost being what the opposition gains on their kick for touch). I think that would show a forward's true overall worth.
        Absolutely.

        Top post.

You may remember it was the bad publicity in the papers about Anasta being potentially moved on which caused Politis to act.
          Very true.

I mean, what the fuark would Noyce know about the psyche of the game?

The role of the prop is changing - they need to be quicker and more mobile + certainly not 1 dimensional. Unfortunately for Rylesy, he doesn't fit the criteria anymore. He's slow, immobile and has seemingly lost his offload.

That's a misguided statement if ever I've seen it.

FPN fits the stigma of the current backrower perfectly. Shows up once or twice a season and wins a game by himself - think F.Pritchard.

Such an enigmatic presence is integral to a teams performance.

You do know that stigma means a mark of reproach, don't you?

That is Grade A dribble, and your entire post is a load of crap.

If the product can't even muster comprehensible sarcasm, private school education really is fuucked.

I could have told you that.

We sat our 2nd English paper this morning actually...some of the incomprehensible dribble that various classmates of mine submitted leaves me with a feeling of doom for the longevity of progressiveness in this country.

Your sarcasm was so obvious that even Blind Freddy would have seen it.

This BlindFreddy is a dumb imposter.

You are a truly a clueless twat. Did you even watch any of our games last season. Ryles had his offload working incredibly well. Are you a Roosters supporter or a Yawnion troll? I would suggest you were a Souffs troll but I don't think they accept enrollments from Souffs supporters at the school for the rich, privileged and inbred.
