Would Robbo, is the more important question. I’d say, yes he would without a moments hesitation.
Verrills looks good so far and the chookpen loves him because he’s shiny and new but he’s just a kid with a handful of games. Friend will be an automatic selection as soon as he’s ready I would say.

It's a good question PG. Friend has the experience but is short of match practice. Verrills hasn't done too much wrong and does give good service from dummy-half and could be a bit of a wildcard and potentially be a 'finals type' player - time will tell but so far I like the look of him.
If I had to choose, I would go with Verrills as he is more match fit. Regardless, (if we do get that far) of whom TR chooses, I would only play one of the two and have three big boppers on the bench and Maubs as he can cover many positions (thinking centre if one of the backs gets injured and adjust accordingly). I base this on the fact Radley can fill in at hooker."Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

During the 5 games Friend has played this year he's had very little rhythm and did a heap of silly forward passes. Not his fault... had he played all year he woulda found his mojo. However, he didn't.
Also, he's got a broken arm. What if the screw breaks again, he gets infected, flakes of bone need to be cleaned out...etc. The cycle of injury continues! No. Let him go on an early holiday, recover up and come back stronger in 2020.

Yes he plays. I think the tough question is....Do you carry Verrills on the bench?? For me it’s a no. If Jake needs s rest, then Rads slots into hooker (which I hate). But it gives us an extra pig on the benchRed, White and Bluesters!!!
