Instead of playing our number 1 and 2 hooker, letting them cover each other and keeping our 1st choice lock at lock. The sacrifice being that our 7th or 8th choice middle misses out a spot on the final bench spot.
Just saying if Jake plays he will at least play 70 minutes 60 at the least. I think it's a waist to carry verrils to only fill in at hooker. Where rads can fill in which would give Angus more minutes in a backrow shuffle

Yes I agree he isn't the most fit of our forwards especially in defence but he would cause problems to oppositions players with his 2 style speed of Stop or Bust!

Anyway when does this missed tackle happen as I am watching the replay at the moment?
      Cheers!
I meant he has been at the root cause of some of the linebreaks we have conceded up the middle.

Don’t say I agree but that’s what I think will happen.

If we weren't so far ahead last night I doubt Tetevano would have seen much more than 10-15 minutes last night.

SST and JWH were both held back to an extent, both only played 40 minutes.

I like Tetevano and agree he has his value, takes all the ugly runs but whilst JWH and SST are there for first play carries he's not needed.
Yep. Tets is a bit down.

Jake will be underdone and although I love him and he is a great player, he has consistent mistakes in his games like poor, ill-timed kicks and forward passes from dummy half.
Robbo is all about defence and Jake is our skipper. He will be straight into the side.

The tough-as-nails hooker still has an open wound on his arm after undergoing surgery and suffering a subsequent infection.

However he resumed contact training a week-and-a-half ago in positive signs for his recovery
Phew!! Jakes been doing full contact training for a week and a half, even with an open wound. He must be fit!
Rookie hooker Sam Verrills says he doesn't know if he'll take part in Saturday's NRL preliminary final agai...

How if he still has an open wound would we possibly risk playing him . After that sort of injury and subsequent infection surely Verills is the best option.

What I like about Verrills possible inclusion, if Jake is a smokescreen or not happening, is that Melbourne haven't played him, he's part of our gun side of late, and they don't like playing against unknowns -..... like Sitili, who made that big run for Latrell's FG.

I agree, it’s too risky to play Jake.

Verrills debuted in that game in Melbourne

                                Another shrewd move by Trent.
