iam sooooo so so sick of people giving mitchell pearce crap! He is an amazing player and he loves the club. What more can we want. We need more players like him. He is going to be a roosters4lyf because he has pride and passion in the jersey. Long live mitchell pearce!!!!!

Mortimer at 7 and Pearce at 6 could be a revelation.

Pearce was a dud in his 2 games for the Blue Bags before promotion to 1st grade, Morts had a whole season of being a dud at wenty, it is his time

Mitchell was a good signing and was a massive improvement on Piggy but there must be a reason why Pawwa didn't want him especially since they don't have any good hookers; if the club with no halves doesn't want Mortimer then you must be aware his abilities are severely limited. Anasta and Pearce first choice halves.

Ultimately every signing you make can't be a big name. I don't think the purpose of signing him is for an immediate impact on the club and to rocket us into contention. He has experience in the top grade, will come comparatively cheaply, and can cover our halves to an extent.

Not the greatest signing by the club but i can understand their reasoning.

The fact that Stephen Kearney doesn't have a clue at club level could be the reason Parra doesn't want Mortimer or Mitchell. Both didn't get a look in even though those in front of them weren't exactly setting the world on fire and the club was battling for the wooden spoon.

Coaches have a certain style they want to play and if they decide certain players don't suit their style those players aren't given a fair go and generally move on. It's happened at the Roosters often enough.

Lazarus has achieved zero in first grade. Mortimer made a Grand Final. I am not sure how that equates to Lazarus being better.
