Awhile ago i was pissed off with even the thought of there being a rumor of him joining us.. But now I'm actually really excited, he's still young and he has something to prove like Carney did in 2010, he'll definitely be grateful and give us his 100% commitment and effort. Great decision by Roosters recruitment..

He might even add some spark to a lame backline.

Ryles was cut, he already had a contract.

Having featured in the club's fairytale run to the grand final last year, the veteran front-rower has been informed by coach Brian Smith he is no longer required despite having one more season remaining on his present deal.

Silly boy Rocky,
your the one that doesn't listen.
Ryles did not have another year on his contract, he had an option of another year and while initially agreed upon, it was at a lower rate which Ryles then decided he wanted the full dollars he was on for the first 2 years and the Roosters did not want to pay that, hence the option was never signed. The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Let's put things into perspective.
We are signing a reserve grader from the team that almost ran last, if we are paying more than $100K we are farking nuts. The people who think he could be some kind of saviour are also farking nuts.
That said I actually don't mind the signing provided it isn't for silly money. We have no depth in the halves and he is a young kid looking for a chance. If it didn't work out it wouldn't hurt really hurt us.

FORMER NSW and Australian front-rower Jason Ryles is expected to become the latest bargain signing for the Melbourne Storm after the Sydney Roosters cut up his contract 12 months early.
They renewed his contract then changed their minds and cut him.
Provide evidence to support your claim otherwise shut it.Last edited by Rocky Rhodes; 10-24-2011, 08:38 PM.
