Just watched Bellamy press conference. I can’t believe how good the press think we are. They asked him are we the benchmark which was strange as they nearly won all their games , Bellamy did not comment or agree.

i know we can be brilliant, but I want to see it for 80 mins. Robbo’s converted me to a super critical perfectionist

as Bellamy said, we have stars in all the key positions.

I think if we play well for 80, shut down Nelson Salmonella and Munster, we’ve got the champs and petroleum to win this well.

no injuries or suspensions for the GF please

ih yeah, we need a fair shake in luck and penalties.

If our fowards can stand up hoping Collins has a blinder we will win. The two previous games the one in Melbourne Keary got injuried had to reshuffle the team thats why they come close in that game. Adelaide game Bmoz bombed a certain try in the dying minutes that cost us the game. Next week game will probably the closest full strength side we have on the park. Go you Chooks!!!

The Dobber - Slob Richo - is editing Raiders Roosters and Storm video reels as we speak to present to Greenturd when he has coffee with Sam (and discusses a diamond ring for his wife after the harrowing incident of sam's phone being stolen and dick pics sent) while Sam has his whinge about how grubby the rest of us in the comp are.

It won't be that far off the mark!

Hey Ray, we need an “Anyone who says they are not nervous about the Melbourne game” thread.

I can see about 3000 storm fans coming to Sydney, but of course, yeah we will 'own' the stadium...

Talking about crowds...I found the stats for the biggest crowd attendance for Sydney clubs in 2019 and it's... Parra but it's understandable. They have a great stadium and there they play like the GlobeTrotters...We come second in home crowds so any dick from another club saying that we don't have fans at the game, we can show them this...

We’ll win this game and we will win the next one too. The GF against my one of my two most-hated sides at the moment is mouth watering.

I think this this year we have won 4 from 6 where JWH hasn’t played. One of the two losses was 14-12 to the Storm where we didn’t have Luke and a few others maybe Teddy?

I think that’s an ok performance without JWH.

Bring it on. Back to back.
                    100%.

In previous years we have been over reliant on JWH but this year is different. This year has been all about covering for missing players. The coaching staff have been preparing for this kind of situation all year. SST is the guy who really steps up for this kind of game, he was huge in last years finals.

I am very confident about us beating Melbourne, and whoever we meet in the GF.It will come down to how Jake goes, if he is 80% fit and gets through the game next week we will win well, If he goes off and Rads has to fill in we still win and Verrills comes back for the GF. Collins will have a license to smash anything that moves, It's a big task for the young bloke and I hope he has a blinder. Being at home with the crowd behind us will be a big help too. We have been a bit off the last two weeks and should be ready to put in a big one. I don't rate Canberra but would love Souths to put the out, so we can absolutely cream them and regain the record winning margin in a GF.

Before his calf injury SST was the best prop in the game. The dude is an animal and put in a nice warm up against Souffs ahead of this clash.

Sure the Storm have Nelson Muntz but we have Tauk Tauk Boom! And our Lord and Saviour Boyd Cordner who I'm tipping to own that left edge.

Another thing I like is that the Storm haven't faced us this year with Radley at lock. We are simply a different animal with the Inflictor in that position.

Robbo has indeed prepared a squad for this very situation all year. And that's why we will win.

The Eels flogged the Broncos and then everyone forgot how good the Storm. Then the Storm flogged the Eels but now we might have a few poor souls who have forgotten how good we are.

Its a 50-50 game, JWH is a massive out & his outing has totally evened up the 2 teams.
Who ever wins out of the Roosters v Storm will win the comp.
                          Go the Chooks.

When Robbo brought JWH back on with 15 odd min to go vs Souffs and the score was 30 nil I remember screaming, "Nooooooooooooo... why take the risk!!!!???!!!"

And as soon as I saw the trip it was like witnessing a car crash in slow motion. Robbo's heart must have sunk.

But! I still think we can absolutely match them in the forwards. We'll be so fresh.

And then we absolutely lap them in the backline. Plus the home ground advantage at the SCG which is as good as any I've ever seen in the NRL.

Deep down we all know that Jared is a massive out but I still have full belief in this extraordinary footy side to raise their game and win.

They did to Parra what we did to a top-4 team in round 1. IMO we have form on our side and on paper we've got the better pool of players available to us.

It's ours to lose but boy do we know how to lose!

the storm have never played at the Cricket Ground as well, so their players hopefully will take a long while to adjust, especially in the kicking game department
                                EASTS TO WIN!
