      We will win.

And we will win the next week.

I have never been more confident.

Although I am confident of the win it's been a great year regardless.

Best and most realistic post so far.

Btw , in all those many losses without JWH

did we have cronk, keary, radley, Crichton, mighty Manu, Teddy, toupou mk2?, and Robbo. No. We do now.

i notice everyone is steering clear of the fact that it could be Cronks last game. We owe him for last year.

Every Rooster would be well aware

The Rain just look at Cronk and collectively shyte themselves.

The win / loss stats for JWH are skewed because when he was out for the whole season after doing his ACL when we came in second last. We hardly won any games that year because we didn't have a half-back or a five-eighth. (Jackson Hastings and Pearce suspended).
We sure will miss JWH as he is the leader of our pack and has been in devastating form but the win/loss stats are certainly skewed.
Expect the rest of the pack to really step up in his absence.

I thought something similar in 2003.

It's obviously going to be a very tough match. I think we can overcome the loss of JWH.

Tetevano has been below par most of the season. It's time for him to aim up. Collins will be good one day but I'm worried he will make a crucial error and never recover. Next season for him.

I take no games for granted.

This week it's do or die for everybody. If we get through it comfortably without any injuries or suspensions I agree that we would be favourites to beat Souffs or Canberra. Otherwise... we'll either be off in Bali getting wasted during the GF or gritting on our chances with injuries/suspensions.

Our 'must haves' - cronk, keary, teddy, I could keep going - are all on deck. Storm don't want Jared not there.. they don't want these 3 there ! ! !

They can smile after beating the easybeats, impress the league community, and admirably train their arses off every day etc etc, but surely Nelson + Kafusi will be on a mission to stop our lethal attack by any grubby means possible.

Did anyone see the disguised head slam on Gutherson. Kafusi wrapped his arms around Gutho and then pulled him onto the turf causing a dangerous head slam. No one has said a thing. It ended Guthersons night. GRUBS

The obvious danger here is that for us the GF has come too early.

Us and Melbourne will be an absolute slug fest. Victory won't come easy.

The same can't be said for the other game. I get the feeling the Raider are going to put a cricket score on South Sydney.

Gutherson genuinely injured tried to get up too. Then you have their fullback, the superstar.. of milking! Absolute cat. They'll be looking to put him through our middle, win soft penalties when he's tackled, kick for goal.

They don't have a winning chance on footy alone.

This game scares me. I honestly believe that Trent was desperate to beat Skeletor in the qualifying game against Souffs. We seemed to have played all our trick shots in that one game. Bellamy would be rubbing his hands together. I'm not so sure about Canberra putting on a cricket score against Souffs. I wouldn't be surprised if the reverse happened.
