  • No injuries or suspensions PLEASE

I don’t think we’ve fielded a full strength team all year. This has resulted in good and bad consequences.

this week realistically, once again no Friend and JWH. But we have more and better quality depth, and a stronger bench.

its gonna be a tough win against the Storm. We can’t afford more injuries and suspensions going into the GF.

    Thoughts?

I'm more concerned with winning than worrying about injuries and suspensions. Always nice to have your best team on the park, but I'd rather go to a GF with a few blokes under a cloud, than go straight to round 1 next year with all hands on deck.

But sure, if we win, it would be nice to have everyone available for once.

Yes it would be a nice change to go into a semi-final without a judiciary hearing or injuries hanging over our heads.

Melbourne, Canberra and Souths all have this luxury at the moment.

Some are really stressing with no Jarred. Hopefully next week we can just enjoy the build up with no added stress.

Can't worry about injuries/suspensions in a sudden death game, winning is the only thing that matters.

I know I’m coming across as over confident. But we all really should send the team positive energy. We should all try to get to the game. Make as much noise as possible , make it hostile for their young, inexperienced, unproven team.

beats being negative, worried, and quiet. We’re over whelming favourites for a reason - The facts. Forget about the what-ifs?

JWH will definitely be cited in the Grand Final, the MRC will watch our victory on the Tuesday and charge him for possibly using his chest to make a tackle in which clipped the Jaw of an opponent.

He will not play for NZ at the end of the year as I'm sure the Kiwi's are planning not to have him due to suspension...

It's a tough ask to beat the Storm without Jake and Jared...especially the way the Storm played last week, played themselves into form.
We can win, if we play our best football and don't make mistakes.
Every set will be a grind.
We need headgear, shoulder pads, and effective plans to stop the Storm offloading the ball, and running Nelson over the line at the little guys all night.

As is Fergo's want, last match he was again caught infield in defence, standing near the centre when he should've been protecting the sideline... the Fox just strolled past for a try.

We may not have Keary as well?

Yep exactly. If winning involves breaking a few bones, we can deal with that later.

I'd rather win at all costs than lose because we've gone all limp and conservative.
