Prelim Team List vs Storm

Has been speculation around that Friend won't play, will obviously have to wait for Saturday night.

I'm torn on what to do with Friend, I think defensively he will sure up the middle a bit but on the downside his service from dummy half is inferior to Verrills.

If we make the GF Friend will need some match fitness but I’d have preferred he got it that when we played Souths.

They'll have plenty of size on us. However, I reckon we've got better defence plus more game breakers. Latrell's due for a couple of meat pies too...

IMO Friend is an emergency backup for if Verills goes down injured etc. not quite 100%. he will not play if Verills is healthy. No mail just an educated guess. Time will tell. Easts to win!!

I think Sam will unfortunately be the one who misses out if Friend is picked. No one wants Radley to move away from lock, but he's versatility will allow him to cover hooker if Friend goes off. I think we need two players who can play prop from the bench (tets and collins), with butcher and Crichton covering the backrow for what will be a tiring game for the forwards (especially covering for jared)

No one wants Radley at Hooker, Hs so-called versatility at Hooker totally stifles our attack, His pass accuracy is crap, Miss-timed passes galore and he is truly missed in attack as a running forward, Completely ruining one position to cover another isn't the answer,
Since Verrills has been elevated he has become such a weapon in the position teams are uncertain what he's going to do as he's quick from Dummy Half with his incisive runs and has an awesome passing game, tell me how many forward passes has he been pinged for since his elevation? I bet less than Friend has in his 5 odd games this year. To top it off Jake would not be match fit to play 80 minutes of Finals football.

I respect jake gives his heart for the club but in this game we cannot afford to play him no match fitness, he will be rusty and the way jake tackles prone to get injured. No second chances. Id leave the side as it is.

Olam hits like a truck and runs good lines he has been a revelation for the storm and will definitely start . I can't see Bellamy changing the starting lineup from last week. Chambers has lost a yard of pace but he will be on the bench, Bellamy wasn't giving Stimson many minutes as the 4th benchie when he was getting picked.
I think Butcher will definitely be there for us he has been brilliant for us all year and gives us a ball playing forward option when Radley has a rest .
