Last years prelim against Souths which was the last game at the SFS was electric like nothing I had ever experienced in all my years following the Chooks but the week later out at Homebush for the GF was a day I will never forget either. The GF brought out every Rooster supporter & their dog, Never seen & heard that many Roosters supporters in all my life.

Cost an arm and a leg to get there, but last years GF was incredible. The Easts chants going round were basically deafening

I watched in a small bar in Bohol in the Philippines. I had to pop in and see the Russian owner the day before and ask him to get it on for me. There was me and a Kiwi guy watching it, he was going for Melbourne so was pretty quiet for most of the game. With about 30 mins to go this guy in bikers gear walks in and demands they change it over to the superbikes. The little barmaid stood her digs thankfully and told him that there were people watching the game so he would have to wait. Watched all the game but missed the after game interviews etc, caught up with them on the NRL app whilst lounging around the pool the following day.

My wife and I were road-tripping through Africa during last year's finals - I managed to watch the GF at a tiny guest house on the Egypt/Sudan border, using my phone as a modem. Won't be missing it this year if we get in!

The performance on the field made it a day to never forget. Watching us seek and destroy anything in a storm jersey was magic. Remember sitting in the stands after a shitload of neutrals left and just soaking in every minute of the post game celebrations.

Watching the cheer Frankie got in the retiring players parade was brilliant as well. No one gave a fark about anyone else.

Had tickets but decided not to go whilst the kids, nephews went. I just sat by myself and was in absolute awe of that performance. The kids went on FaceTime to give me the feel of the cheers and chants after the game . Best day EVER!

I used my holidays that I had saved up to come back home to watch the GF, it was the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at any gamе.

We were in NYC for the semi... perched on bed in an Air BNB in the early morning... then watch the GF in a similar fashion in Memphis. I wore my Easts jumper to Sun Studios and a bunch of Aussies were talking about how good it was! I'll never forget it... But gutted to miss being there.
