Bitch about all things Souths right here.

I’m a bit torn with this one actually. I can never support Souths but I can’t think of anything better then smashing them in a grand final. Having to deal with a week of South Sydney hype would be quite disturbing though.

I think this will be closer than people expect.

Yes I still want Souths smashed tonight but it would be a much better result if we could do the smashing next week where as beating the faders wouldn’t be as satisfying. The only problem I have or more like a preference would be that I would have preferred our game to be first so that we could sit back and enjoy the other teams smash themselves much like the fans of tonight’s winning match will do tomorrow.

i dont want souths to reach the final. but they would be the easier of the two to beat if we were to reach the GF. im undecided

If you were around in 87 you would enjoy a little revenge on The Raiders. It’s been 32 years since such an opportunity arose.

I disagree Big Jack. This thread is very much Roosters related seeing as the victors becomes our grand final opponent.

Just looking to watch a good game of semi finals footy. Atmosphere at Canberra will be great. Souths are a chance, but you'd figure Canberra will be too strong.

By the sound of it The Raiders have had such a huge build up to this game. Such hype in Canberra. They are playing their GF one week early. They have over achieved and just getting to the big one will be a win for them.

I think this battle of the penalty-milkers will be close. Maybe Raiders by 2, but if the penalty count is high, the Vermin may surprise.

If I knew we win the gf for sure then I would definitely want Souths to win this one as there wouldn’t be a better feeling in RL for a chooks fan to deny them at the last hurdle - but on the flip side I couldn’t handle the next 12 months I’d they were to deny us in the big one - so I don’t know what I would prefer in this one - just hope they bash each other up big time I suppose.

I think it will be closer however last weeks game against manly will take its toll on Souths eventually, whether it’s this week or next week. Raiders 22-Souths-14
