  • Does Papalii get suspended next week?

IMO he has nothing to answer. However, I'm torn because JWH always gets dud charges and penalties for being a bigger guy who hits hard.

JWH got off for the hit on knight, and another charge before that. I don’t remember papa getting too many charges for dirty play, shouldn’t miss a week.

Lets beat them at full strength like we did Melbourne last year and will do Melbourne tonight.

The telling part is that Doueihi's mouthguard went flying. Papaili hit him flush on the chin with his shoulder. Either there are rules or Les Boyd becomes tackling coach.

I think some of you will be a bit more forgiving tonight if one of our guys offends in any way.

Remember Tetevano got one week for this tackle leading into the 2017 semi finals. Hit at about the same spot.

Originally charged with a grade 3 reckless, he successfully argued the grading and pleaded guilty to a careless grade 1 variety. Dropped from 3 weeks to 1 week.

Sydney Roosters forward Zane Tetevano faces being suspended for most of the NRL finals series after being charged with a grade three high tackle in Saturday's win over Gold Coast.

As a roosters fan I hope so. As a footy fan, no, I don’t want to see players suspended for that. It’s body contact sport. Shit happens sometimes. Unless it’s a deliberate swinging arm or blatant shoulder charge to the head, penalty is enough move on.

Well after watching the video you posted, this is very damming to Papali if all is equal because I don't see anything different to Zanes tackle, however the NRL will most likely not cite him because its the GF or will let him off at the judiciary.

The one thing we know about the judiciary is that they are inconsistent.

If we do make it, I’d rather beat a full squad Canberra and not be subjected to Papalii our excuses than have him out. I don’t think he deserves to bed suspended either
