Well. Papalii has got off with a fine. Typical of the Judiciary. JWH cops a week for a minor trip. Papalii knocks someone out gets a fine and free to play in the GF. Makes you wonder if the fix is in for Canberra to win the GF?

How does he get off with a fine if he has loading from a previous offence?

He didn’t get fined, he was not even charged. Soliola copped a fine for high shot on Burgess.

I’m alright with the big guy being free to play. He was their best player last night. Deserves to be there.
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

I wish he was but Jared’s case was a bit harder to defend.

They found JWH to be reckless, which may be true but it's a big call

All I'm gonna say is that IMO Papalii got off because he wears a lime green jersey not a tricolours one. Case in point Zane last year

canberra rely on luck to score tries, againswt our defence there is no luck allowed we showed that when web beat them in canberra they get very frustrated when they dont score freaky tries

Papalii was put on report, JWH wasn't. However, the NRL's pre-judiciary processes decided to go after JWH and not Papalii.

I don't think Papalii did anything, but he was put on report. IMO the judiciary should decide, not some faceless match reviewer. Likewise, I don't think Fox should have been able to put JWH on report when the ref decided there was nothing in it.

Otherwise, what does 'on report' mean? Nothing, becaue the reviewers will cherrypick anyway, based on which footage the Fox decides to highlight.

Facts aside, the procedure stinks. It is definitely a kangaroo court!

Rant aside, we have to beat the Storm before it even matters. And then if we do (a massive if)... it's irrelevant because he's contracted to the Raiders and we're fukking soft if we need to rely on suspensions to get over the line against them. It shouldn't matter one bit with our roster. The guy's a fatty who ran 150m on his best game ever as a back rower. He's one of their best, but we shouldn't be scared of him...
