Yep... TBH Toops was my man of the match. The game was won on the back of good defence and pretty well every set ended with a sneaky kick towards Toops. Didn't see him drop one ball or get dominated at any point.

Yeah its not often that a winger would get a man of the match but i had Toops just in front of Cords tonight. I cant believe its the same player last couple of years. Its his whole demeanour- super confident and aggressive.

My pet hate used to be him coming infield in defence and not stopping the ball or the opposing centre-in no mans land waving his arms around and leaving his winger unmarked. Now when he comes in the opposing centre gets whacked-i love it!!!

He always had the physical attributes but it meant nothing when mentally he was timid. Now he knows he is a beast and plays like it. Good on him!

Hard not to rate him as best on ground tonight. I've loved Toops ever since he scored his first hat trick against parra back in 2012. Just a nice human being as well.... roosters thru n thru
