It has been fun and games Melon, but in all seriousness, this is the exactly what my problem has been. The IN THE KNOW crowd can sit around and have a beer together, and say what they want in private. Why come on here and spill your guts, other than to try and look good?

I couldn't care less if TOK is or isnt the low life scum Rothfield. People come on here airing dirty laundry, then cry when things stuff up.

Resinding my self-imposed exile from this thread, I will posit that B.M. is right when he implies (or at least I infer from his post) that a lot of the people on this posting board seem to imply they have more involvement in the club than they actually do.

I admit freely to having spoken to exactly five players and/or coaches from the club in 20 years.

They are.

1. Hugh McGahan
2. Arthur Beetson
3. Luke Phillips
4. Phil Gould
5. Ivan Cleary

And only two of those (Cleary and Hugh McGahan) were more than five minutes long.

That said, I do know people who know people in the club so if I get mail it's usually correct.

Well while we are gaving a truth session I have spoken to the following Roosters:

Fitzy
Wingy
Mini
Texas Walker
Fletch
Ricko (a few times, he seems to like a drink as much as I do)
Big Morls
Crock
Freddie
Skinny Byrne

Most if not all of these meetings happened on the dance floor at Cargo bar after midnight when the boys were looking for some sustenance to keep the romance of the evening going

I dont think any of these meetings had anything to do the decisions the Club made!

I'm with Big Morls. Don't flatter yourselves and think this forum has had any influence on anything. No doubt plenty of lowlife media types trawl through the forums of various clubs but I believe mostly they come up with baseless rumours that give them an idea of what to write about.

What of any importance was shared on this forum and by who? I say absolutely nothing.
