Easts between claps is perfect. If it upsets the Raiders or their cheer squads on Ch 9 and Fox all the better.
This is a contest and Roosters fans are continually bagged for not turning up or lacking passion. Nothing wrong with making a statement early.
Just might get into the heads of a few of the Raiders players who have said the Clap does give them an extra lift before the game. Take it off them.

I thought Rooster fans were better than that, it is something I would expect from South fans.
It will be a great day with us going back to back, let them have there fun. The Viking Clap does add to the atmosphere.

And gives their players a psychological advantage.

Exactly. There's no unique 'viking clap' per se... it's just the old 'Raiders... clap clap clap... Raiders... clap clap clap'. It's just the TV that makes it sound like some 'AAAAAARGHB!!!!' [carefully timed single clap]... 'AAAARGH!!!'... [carefully timed clap].

100% it will just be 'Raiders... clap clap clap' and if there's more Roosters fans there yelling out 'ROOSTERS' (most probable) then it sounds like everybody's cheering for the Roosters. Zero intimidation factor.
