  • Half of the 21st Century

    without checking stats
Cronk for QLD, Storm & now Roosters has to be half of the century
He's a hall of famer before he's finished

    The way he saved tries
    Guided the team
    created breaks
gave the viewers a passionate half time & full time rant about his love for club & the game
like a General he compliments Captain Cordner
Talking the lads when the heat is on
He's looking at 100% to bringing home the bacon in only his 2nd year at Easts
    Legend.....
    "Qui audet adipiscitur"

    WHO DARES WINS

I'll confess, I said years ago I wanted to see how he went without Smith and Slater. When he joined us I was skeptical. Wow, he has delivered.

    What a player.

Cronk is the ultimate professional and someone who gets underappreciated because of Smith and Slater. I think he needs to be in the conversation with JT, Lockyer and even Johns but he is a different player to them all. He is so much more meticulous and the most traditional and pure halfback out of the group. I think they are all great players in their own right and hard to split them but Cronk is as good as ive seen and deserves the same praises as any other half to play the game.

If we go Back to back and maybe even if we don't , he is one of the most influential Halves /player we have signed in the modern history of the Rooster's. .
Selfless team player who gives way more than he asks back.

Some may have been more talented but Cronk has worked with what he had and from being a manufactured half after Orford left Melbourne, he steered his teams into 9 grand finals.

What he has done at the Roosters is next level, along with Trent he has helped usher in a level of professionalism at this club perhaps maybe better than SBW did in 2013. Just 2.years as a player but he will be considered one of the clubs favourite sons for all time and I cannot remember him in a purple jersey.

Plus 4 grand finals in a row since 2016.

He certainly deserves to be considered as one of the greatest halves of all time.

He is without a doubt the Tom Brady of the NRL....

If Cronk was playing for the Storm on Saturday then we would have lost.
I think he had his best game for us since coming.

After 2 years and already a roosters legend, I have totally erased any images of him is a storm jersey.

I don't think so, we aren't a one man team.

                      But he was terrific.

200+ games, a premiership ring and three Jack Gibson medals. Just shows how great Coops is that he is able to eclipse all that in 50 games
