I'm loving the love for the Raiders. They're getting all the attention. Everyone's talking about fairytales, all the support, etc. Takes the focus off our guys, who will be lying in wait!

have they all forgotten we went b2b back in 74/75, so it's not something unknown to us it's just th4e nrlo period forced on the arl by the idiocy of superleague, i do remember Canberra were one of those idio5t clubs too, yes i have a long memory orf hatred.

It’s been a good week so far for the Roosters, hardly and media attention it’s all been on the Raiders.

It’ll all be to much emotions come GF day for the Raiders.

So out of 85k or so people ... 60k will be Raiders and 25k roosters... Idiots!! Last year it was like that our way... I reckon there were less neutrals too than other years when I've gone as a neutral.
So out of the 60k or so roosters supporters who went last year... This year only 25k are going to return???
            They are f$cking docile idiots!!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if roosters fan numbers dropped off a bit, mainly due to raiders fans knowing before us that they had made the GF, and that this is the first time in a long while. We still will have the majority of fans there obviously

just remember the game is run by sportsbet, ladbrokes, tab, unibet blah blah blah i lost the house betting crap. so to juicy up the odds the major sponsors of the nrl hack shows have to be seen to be promoting the under dog to try to square up the odds and temp the newbie to have a punt
couldnt give a fcuk about it. my flags are flying on the gold coast.

to the tune of 12 day of xmas.: on the fourth day of finals week my conscience say to me. wear that roosters shirt.

the other thing i suppose we all have to consider re these journos is that they are trying to talk the game up a bit , just imagine if kent, or ikin came out and said "yep, roosters by 24 , no contest, far to classy etc " , and all other journos agreed, how many neutral fans would not bother tuning in ? us die hards will always tune on, but the guys and gals who only tune in for origin, grand finals etc would have their numbers severely diminished, if the result was beyond doubt and the media talked it that way. just a thought.
but good on bouris for coming out and defending the club regardless, as for ikin, tallis, ennis , m johns ....get farked ...hope the broncos, cronulla and the knights , never see premiership glory again...ever, forever ever

Interesting read about Greenberg coming out and declaring the roosters are the best at managing the salary cap

Maybe we should see if we can borrow Manly's sign 'Everybody Hates Us!....We Don't Care!' Don't think they'll be needing it for a while.

You ever read the original Grimm's fairy tales. No Disney saccharine B.S. in that lot.
