Adam Pengilly - "If the caps fits - roosters down raiders amid controversy". Article starts off and ends with salary cap cheating innuendo, says all the luck went with us and that the trainer was our 14th player. No mention the Cronk sin bin might have been harsh. To have one of their lead articles after a tough GF win rehashing the snide and tired salary cap bitching angle proves once and for all what a bunch of haters these wankers are.

Adrian Proszenko - "Raiders Robbed By Refereeing Howlers". Now that's a very interesting title because Adam lists 3 "howlers" - the 6 again call, the trainer rebound (which he admits was the correct call, just bad luck) AND the Cronk sinbin. So then Adrian, you meant singular "howler" (which itself was in fact a correct call, albeit delayed).

Adam Pengilly - "Write What You Think - Stuart Bites Tongue On Grand Final Call". Yes Adam, by now we get it, but just for clarity he again states this was the "match defining play". BTW Ricky didn't really bite his tongue, he made it clear with the "write what you think" BS that he believed he was robbed. So yet again he was a whining sore losing bitch.

Phil Lutton - "As it Happened - Refereeing Call Clouds Roosters Triumph". Actually apart from title, this guy does what none of his colleagues had the guts to do, to give credit to our amazing D.

Exactly my thoughts when I flicked through the SMH this morning. In fact you pretty much wrote what I would have but you’ve saved me the time.

I still read the SMH out of habit, remembering it from the broadsheet days when they used to have proper journalists. Sad to see it reduced to this level of tabloid sensationalist rubbish.

So much bias. The decision was corrected. We didn’t score until the 4th tackle so whatever happened to the raiders defense. Just sore losers. Did Stuart publicly congratulate us on our win? He gives the impression he doesn’t accept the result. But only recently he was praising refs for their strip rule enforcement. He’s anti Rugby League goading newspapers to condemn the GF. He said he didn’t want to sound unsportsmanlike but then urged the reporters to do his dirty work for him by proxy.
