They spoke to Bill Harrigan ….. he agreed with the sin binning. Was asked about the Trainer incident and how everyone could miss Keary getting taken out > he sayd touchies should've picked it up but can understand how both ref's missed it as they would've been watching the ball pinballing around of two heads, but touchies should've seen it (I reckon bunker should've seen it too). Now about the 6-again, Harrigan says its all about getting the right call, so he had no problem with them correcting the call, it was called out 4 times by the ref so he had no issues with that .. it was better than them staying with the wrong call and when asked replied Raiders were not robbed by that decision !

If Wrighton was honest he should admit he knew it was last tackle.
Everyone saw the six again signalled and we all also saw the last tackle signalled too.
Canberra played as if it was last tackle by giving two risky passes to keep it alive.
Wrighton had already strolled through Cordner and Crichton to score so he thought he would do it again.

Of course Wighton knew it was the last. So he clearly heard, Six Again Or Is It? (Said once) but missed the repeated calls of Last, Still Last....??? Defies belief. He’s not being honest because the narrative better suits the story of Raiders were robbed. I challenge anyone of the Raiders to come forward and say they heard the change of call. It would be the honourable thing to do, or forever be condemned to the lie that will live beyond the fading memories of GF 2019.

In the audio you hear Cummins say to the pocket ref through his mic "Was that 6 again?" "Is it 6 again?" During this time he makes a split second decision to signal 6 again but never yells it out before the pocket ref then says " play on, play on".
so Cummins than yells out loudly "LAST TACKLE" over and over.

I watched the Nine post match replay last night and the showed the camera angle from behind the posts and are using the referees audio and when the ball rebounds from the Canberra player, Cummins in a low voice says ‘Is it 6 again?’ Like he’s asking for help as he is signalling 6 again. At no time did I hear him say it.... Then after that he starts yelling louder ‘Last tackle...!’ With his arm up About 4-5.

But apparently Thurston seemed to have heard ‘6 again’ about 3 times....Wrong Wrong Wrong!!!


Many hear don’t like the refs especially Cummins but I hate it how the Raiders are throwing him under the bus due to their failures. It wouldn’t be nice to be accused of cheating in a high profile situation. I think the raiders should fess up and let their fans know the truth AND this immortal JT owes an apology to Cummins and Robbo!
