Totally agree with the Pearce sentiments. The time has come for Mitchell to have his break-out year if it is ever going to happen. Lets hope we see a smarter version in regards to his passing and even more so his kicking game. He has the skills to do the job but will he ever stop being a dumb halfback. All the good halfbacks of the past and present have known how to guide a team around and get wins. In my opinion Pearce has yet to demonstrate that ability for any stretch of time.

      Anasta or Mortimer

Anasta will play five eighth as he is way ahead of anyone at our club in that position.

Anasta is like a large boil on your backside.
Last year his stats as a lock were the worst in NRL historical data records.
He has twice been dropped from the blues as a 6 and has been shifted mid season to the darker recesses of the scrum more times than Brad Fitler had successive sober nights.
Year after year Anasta predicts the midfield bomb will be the so hot right now play unti we start looking like wooden spooners (he promptly gets shafted).
Fact: Anasta would not even have started most games last year if he was not an overpayed captain.

Why bag a bloke playing out of position than when he plays in his preferred position we start winning. He is the best leader in the comp. We all forget we have the youngest team in the comp. Lets start following our players. Anasta won't be there forever so lets support him!
Why bag? Because he refuses to hit up or make a tackle when playing in the forwards. Best leader? Gallen, Lockyer, Lyons, Thurston etc heard of these guys? Won us the last 4 games? you're kidding right?

            I've never heard of Lyons.

Does he play for the Storms?

              Jamie LYON SWEEHEART.
Plays for manly. They have the pretty maroon shirts with the white stripes.

Given that choice it has to be Braith.

Mortimer was barely competitive in the NSW cup last year.

You are in the middle east, so I thought it was topical if a little dated. I couldn't really work in marines pissing on Taliban corpses.

And I'm more a Howard Wolowitz. Sleazy yes, pathetic definitely, but with a rather fetching girlfriend.

No definitely Sheldon. I still don't think you picked up on the sarcasm.

No longer in Dubai. You really should be able to change your username and retain your history.

True. And I read that late, so I did miss the sarcasm.

I would say I feel like the rear end of Incitatus but I don't want to be a neighsayer.

                              • Mort has to earn a spot via The Jets. Also, he is tiny and worries me in defence. He will be a good replacement for Pearce during origin.
We have quality backrowers. I don't want Braith taking up space in the backrow.
