I've just seen an article tonight in the SMH written by a David Polinghorne, where hs states that a rule 16.9 should have been applied when he changed his call late in the game that seemed to confuse the raiders. That is that he cannot change the call of 6 again to last tackle unless there has been foul play. I looked up the NRL rules and could not find such a rule I don't know of such a rule either. Any takers?

The weird thing is most Raider fans I've talked too are ok with what happened. They see the Fatman's failure to pass to the leg twister as the reason they lost, and the fact they failed to defend the 6 again.
It's the feral neutrals that are hysterical. Crowe and his crud club are hurting so that's a tremendous thing.
Regardless of the commentary, it doesn't make watching the replay any less enjoyable.
Go Easts.

I've got a Raiders fan friend who said it was a pity that the controversy had got in the way. But, tbh, it hasn't ot in the way at all. Winning a close game where we were under the pump and the result could have gone either way never stops being good. When you win a GF that way, more so.
Different feeling from last year. Euphoric, but not as euphoric. But maybe even more satisfying ….

If anyone gives you shit wearing your Roosters gear, just give them the Six Again and watch them fire up.
If anyone has experience in Animation, maybe a 10 sec gif of Cummins doing a Six Again happy dance and we can post it, twitter it, Facebook it, instagram it and basically jam it up the arse of any and all having a go at us!

Most Canberra fans have been pretty gracious. Even Sticky (who I'll always be thankful to for 2002) was gracious, Soliola's speech was fantastic I thought - seems like a good bloke.
It's the neutrals that are going feral, and not all of them just the same ones who keep calling 100 times a day and making 200 posts a day.
Most people would say we were lucky, but it was our defence and Canberra's inability to break it that got us the win.
Keep in mind, the two incidents didn't lead to direct tries - we were 40 metres out in the triple falcon incident and had to travel 90 metres to score one of the most beautiful, clutch trys in GF history.
And yes, if the roles were reversed, it would have received 5% newstime as what it's been getting - but I reckon that's because it's human nature to support the underdog. not so much that everyone hated us.
