That surely won't happen. You don't punt the incumbent goal kicker for a rookie, unless his kicking is terrible.

Yeah, he's playing for us next year.

How is Manu not in the NZ 9's squad. His footwork would have craved teams up with all the extra space

Could be wrong but no one from the GF was allowed to be pick due to proximity to the 9s?

I think it’s because Australia play NZ next week in a proper test.

CNK and BJ both played tonight after playing in the GF.

On value alone I suppose Manu; although Lats goalkicking is very valuable.

Also Latrell has the potential to be a genuine club icon...
Probably Latrell. He's a massive point of difference player who draws in extra defenders simply by standing there and makes everybody around him look better.

Manu's amazing and often performs better than Latrell. However, Latrell is like your Freddy, JT, GI...etc. You want him on your team and NEVER wanna play against him.

                  Edit:
I think one thing about Latrell is that he's now marked out of every game, which limits what he can do compared with Manu.

If you get rid of him you'll notice big time because his presence forces teams to over-commit. 2019 GF was a classic example... 2 on Latrell (rather than 1 on Latell and 1 on Toops), Latrell passes around both, Toops runs 50m, middles slide in to cover and there's absolutely nobody marking Teddy. Your closest is Papalii trying to slide over from the other side of the field... no chance! 100% Latrell there.

It’s not as if the NZ or the Aussie team chose their very best. If Australia was serious Teddy and Lats would have been there.

Think I did see a couple of the Raiders play, but yeah basically ignored the GF players

If the vermin are allowed to medically retire Burgess like they were GI, they would have an enormous war chest available to have a crack at signing Latrell for 2021.

Can you honestly see nrl cap relief? Burgearse had chronic shoulder injury at time of renewing.

They allowed the vermin to medically retire GI so anything is possible.
