for a while i got to marty prety well, his achilles heel was he is so bloody smart he qualified for medicine at hsc he thought he could out with the authorities and make big cash when his footy mony dried up? hes actually a father now too so im sorry this has happened to his family, i think his bulk will protect him inside?

Mate I have been a prison officer for 15 years...bulk doesn't protect you, the crowd you 'roll' with does.

In saying that he will be fine, most of the inmates love footy and train hard inside, he will be fine. Wycliff Palu, Elias and Russell Packer had no issues during their sentence. Due to his crime and he isnt a silly boy as others have mentioned, he will progress to minimum security extremely fast, probably end up on a farm somewhere

Yes it has flown look I know a lot of officers that have moved to the department I don’t have any social media I hear of a lot this through ex colleagues the officer your talking about was never at PKA whilst I was they’re I never heard of him.

Wasn't a prison officer but worked in an education unit at a prison (plus have had a few nights behind bars) and would agree. Doesn't matter how big you are if somebody shivs you in the kidney, clobbers you in the head through a window or waits around the corner from you with a bottle of oil they've just heated up in the microwave. Prisoners don't fight fair - they're all dogs who are gonna use dog tactics 100% of the time.

He should be fine so long as he doesn't get involved in anything I reckon. His crimes aren't for anything that would make him a target and he wouldn't be on anybody's shyte list. All he's gotta do is choose the mainstream unit and stay outta trouble.

The trouble starts when (for example):
- You're a paedo.
- You've bashed somebody's sister.
- You've dobbed somebody in to receive a discount.
- You're a drug addict and need to get involved in heaps of shit to pay for your habit.
- Your crime harmed the defenceless (e.g. you bashed up your grandma or stole shit from a quadriplegic's house then kicked him outta his wheelchair).
- You look pretty.

Trading peptides to elite athletes (with no dobbing others in), buying snakes and selling exotics to some Asian dude? IMO most crims will consider these to be victimless events that aren't even crimes + he's just a victim of the police/government.
