I must admit I am over giving this topic air time. I bet the Warren or the other forums are not talking about Aubo or any of our other players if they happen to be in a similar position to Burgess. They are probably only talking about Latrell - gee I hope they don't get him. That would be hard to take. Hopefully, Burgess can just disappear into the sunset.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Thanks ROC. Firstly, let me assure you, I am certainly not a Burgess fan! While he was a very good player when he first came out here, his antics on the field and behaviour off it have turned me off in more recent times. In terms of the thread, I am just keen on spending as much time and energy talking about our great club and its players rather than the opposition - especially Souths - that's all. It is only my humble opinion, with absolutely no offence intended. I would never be critical of any thread posted by mighty Roosters supporters. We are all here with something in common, and that is following this incredible club of ours. As a side note, I like Chookies74 post, I have to say!MRR or Rabid

Turkey Neck will already be buttering up the NRL with all manner of justifiable gobble.
I hope Nick is rallying the other clubs to oppose any thought of wiping the nut grabbers salary off their books.
I'd love to be loling@souffs should they have to carry this burden as they'll be finger pointing at each other as they crash to the bottom of the ladder. Bennett will bail faster than his marriage.
Chook.

Playing devil's advocate here..............
If an elite sportsperson was unfortunately forced into premature retirement due to injury but still had more fuel left in the tank and passion to continue, would he/she not consider having a year off and in that time receive the "appropriate" treatment so they could get back into action? Being tested for drugs wouldn't be of concern because they are no longer competing. Hmmm.....food for thought!
