After a meeting of the club’s football retention committee this afternoon, chief executive Andrew Hill told The Daily Telegraph that the Bulldogs would not be pursuing the out of favour Sydney Rooster.

Is Latrell a drama queen and enjoying all this attention and time in the limelight?

I just remember at the fans event the day after the GF he walked through the crowd looking as if he was just too cool for school. My mate who attended the players party told me all the players were great and approachable accept for Latrell who was too up himself.
Its funny how we have different experiences. Latrell was more than happy to get a photo with my Daughters before the game at Gosford this year..in fact he walked along the fence line signing dozens of autographs and a heap of pics with a huge smile on his face, no other player did this

So who are his supposed suitors? Souths say no. Bulldogs say no. Tigers? Knights? Good luck joining those shitty clubs.

My experience with Latrell is the complete opposite.
I don't want to come on here and bag who else has been stand offish, or who was acting too cool for school, it wouldn't go down well, and I was at all the events you mentioned.

Souths mate. As if you'd believe what they say.

Yeah you are probably right. Plus they would probably be happy to pay overs if it means they think they are getting one over the Roosters. As someone who has no idea what is really happening, I wouldn't be surprised if things soften and he ends up staying.

              • I reckon he will end up at Souffs.

Once they medically retire Surgess and also release Walker they will have a tonne of money to splash around for next year.

                  • I agree. They would see it as getting one back after we 'stole' Angus, Nat and Luke. They have been acting in a very strange manner through this whole debacle, given what Richardson said etc. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them to be honest. On Gallen, I agree that he is a very good commentator - a breath of fresh air of sorts. I hope they keep '100% Footy' next year and beyond, but perhaps remove Lockyer and Breen. I also have some regard for James Bracey, although I think he could a bit more front footed and opinionated from time to time (recognising, of course, his position as the front man of the channel nine). Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Didn't souffs say that they weren't interested in Jimmy the jet,... Then two weeks later signed him up!

I think there will be more twists to come in the Latrel circus, if he leaves us, he's souffs bound guaranteed.

                              That's ridiculous too!

"Never slam doors, and never burn bridges...you might want to go back" - Jack Gibson.

What happened to 'my door is always open'?

Latrell is one of our club's biggest stars, biggest point scorers, biggest attractions...pin up boy for the fans.
                              Now it's all over. Baaah!
Lucky the 10,000 members signed up before the door was slammed shut.
Good luck getting 2000 fans to our games now.

What if, Latrell changes his mind next week, and wants to sign with us for $800,000...we're just going to hang up on him, tell him to go away?

I don't fully endorse what the Cub has done...I think it's been far too hasty.
I think you'l find attendances won't suffer one bit if and when Latrell leaves
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results
