That's ridiculous too!
"Never slam doors, and never burn bridges...you might want to go back" - Jack Gibson.
What happened to 'my door is always open'?
Latrell is one of our club's biggest stars, biggest point scorers, biggest attractions...pin up boy for the fans.
Now it's all over. Baaah!
Lucky the 10,000 members signed up before the door was slammed shut.
Good luck getting 2000 fans to our games now.
What if, Latrell changes his mind next week, and wants to sign with us for $800,000...we're just going to hang up on him, tell him to go away?
I don't fully endorse what the Cub has done...I think it's been far too hasty.
The club is in the right- the offer was excellent...the player rejected it.....and now the club will move on with its future planning. If Latrell has a change of heart and the money is still available then i'm sure Latrell will be accommodated. If the money has been allocated then he moves on.....thats business

Gee I hope Latrell doesn't visit the Chookpen. You've got some guys on here who combine an Under 10s coach's view of player management with a tendency to believe what they read in the media.

Negotiations should last longer that one day, one meeting though.
Negotiations should be ongoing.
Someone's about to jump off a burning building...says "NO" to attempts to talk them out of it, to talk them into a wiser choice.
You don't just say "well jump then!".

Today's DT;
"Revenge of the Tiger".
We took Teddy from them, so now they're going to take Latrell from us.

Wests Tigers have $1.7 million in available salary cap space for next season and are planning an audacious bid to make Latrell Mitchell the biggest signing in the NRL joint venture’s history.
When Wests Tigers lost former golden boy James Tedesco to the Sydney Roosters there was nothing they could do about it.
Now it’s time for the ultimate revenge.
In an ironic twist of fate, the cashed-up Tigers have emerged as the new favourites to land Latrell Mitchell.Last edited by bondi.boy; 11-09-2019, 10:29 AM.

While I would not be wanting Latrell to go to the Tigers, I would still prefer that to Souths. That would be the pits.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
