Looks like Souths or Tigers with Dogs pulling out today.
Souths have to get the Burgess money approved first but they did tell Walker today that he wants too much too.
    Coincidently same manager as Trell.

They don't have the same manager.

Maybe the Wolfpack will offer him a crazy amount? If they offer him 10m over 5 years I can see him taking it and retiring at 27.

Looks like his mate Cody won't be at souths if he wanted to join them.

He is still contracted for 2020. I reckon the Roosters would rather he sit out the season unpaid (or play for the Bears) than reward his manager’s negotiating tactics.

He needs money! He has a family! He wants to be with his culture! He wants to play fullback, 5/8 prop! All rubbish!

He has had people in his ears all this year telling him stuff as to why he should go somewhere else yet those people fail to recognise, or more like they don’t know, how much the whole organisation has been helping him to be where he is at now. I hope we don’t release him early because we can still use hm to win another premiership but also we always seem to release players early but seldom get the same when we sign a big name. I can predict that whenever Latrell begins playing elsewhere, let’s see how he takes the role of being the marquee player, which I think it will definitely stress him out. Plus not having Luke to feed him good ball is going to screw him up. Latrell is making his bed and he may not be able to sleep on it!

Nah if he isnt going to be here in 2021 then release him... he already spends 50% of the games with his mind in the clouds so i expect even more of that if he is leaving... i say let him go and use the money elsewhere.

Guess it depends on how friendly today's talk was. But you'd figure the club will do the sensible thing.

Oh well, thanks for the memories Trell - good luck.

Hope Hall's knee isn't too bad. We can still field an all international 1-5, with Smith and others chomping at the bit. Might also mean we can hold onto everybody else.

He is still useful and as much as he might want to be making more money, I’m guessing he will still enjoy playing with people he knows and is good friends with like Toupo, Luke and Cords because they have achieved plenty. As a young man I’m sure he will be apprehensive about having to go to work in a new place so the longer he can stretch it will be a comforting thought. He may not have liked at his offer but let’s hope that he doesn’t have a bad feeling about being in Bondi.

Hall dislocated his knee playing for the Pom's on the weekend, he could be on the sidelines for a while.

We have big issues with goal kicking if we release him next year. SST and Flanagan the only ones I can see kicking and hardly 80% kickers. He will be a big loss if he goes next year. Top point scorer this year and 2nd last year.
I hope he doesn't get what he wants elsewhere and we go back to the negotiating table providing he gets his focus back on footy.

We'll probably reach a deal with him mid-year, don't forget he's got a year to go.
Most clubs would be wary of paying big bucks for a lazy player with attitude problems.

It's a big decision for Latrell - and yet he doesn't seem to be the one making it !

Correct! After we lost Maloney we had problems with goal kicks. Latrell won’t mind staying another year if the negotiations were not spiteful. In the meantime we get a new kicker for 2021.
