The West Tigers would have to be favourites to sign him as they have lost their centre Easn Masters to the Cowboys. Revenge for losing Tedesco. They have a big war chest. Nth Qld Cowboys are also interested but Mitchell needs to stay close to Taree. If West Tigers do not sign him, then he may well stay with the Roosters !!

If the relationship isn’t as broken as it’s being reported or he realises what he has caused and comes back with his tail feathers between his legs he might stay and have one last good season for us for the 3peat. Let’s squeeze every bit of juice out of him. Besides he did come out saying in Instagram in the last few days to remember he is still contracted to us and will be fulfilling his contract. I personally hate the system where a player signs for another club a year before leaving the current club but since that is the rules then let’s use it to our advantage and keep Latrell and use him for all he’s worth but if he decides to act up then he can go and spend his time at North’s feeder club, on the bench. We had to wait till the next season to get Cronk, Teddy and Angus whilst they played out their contract and there wasn’t any animosity on either of them or their clubs through that.
