Chooks will have to be at their best.
Check out the replay at 3pm on 502 today and you’ll see what I mean.
People kept telling me that this St. Helens side can give the nrl a run for its money. Hopefully that means a closer game where we don’t win in the first 15 minutes
    EASTS TO WIN!

I love the WCC. I want us to win and I expect us to win but in reality, it’s nothung more than a strong trial match.

It would be nice to keep our unbeaten record in tact however so there is good motivation to be at our best.

I agree but the Roosters will still win by 13 plus.

Three weeks to go tomorrow morning! I can hardly wait. It cannot come quick enough.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

The Sydney Roosters and St Helens Saints will lace up for the 28th World Club Challenge fixture in 2020 since the inception of the competition in 1976 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
            ..it’ll be interesting to see

Didn’t help the pommy side last time we played them or the time before that. We don’t lose WCC matches.

Yeah we won with Hastings and Nikorima in the halves. Hastings is now their equivalent of a Dally M half.

IMO it makes sense to have it in England coz they will get the bigger crowds and it means more to their fanatics to be seeing our stars (e.g. Cords, Teddy and Keary live).

TBH my only concern is the new training salary cap. Robbo has done a good job organising sessions in France and England while we've been over there (then awesome sessions in the USA and stuff) that all make the experience a positive. I'm concerned that the new training salary cap is a subtle dig at our ability to do such things in order to minimise the impact of the 24 hour flights and WCC games during the pre-season.

Compared to other sports, our players really don't get paid all that much.
                              Indeed.
Can only pay the players out of profit though.
Our small population, and many sports competing for the available audience and advertising etc revenue, players in our sports can't sign contracts for $40 million a season like the star of the Superbowl could do.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Mahomes is expected to receive a contract extension that will "shatter" the quarterback market and easily surpass Russell Wilson's record salary. Specifically, Mahomes could land an extension worth $40 million per season.

The coach is the Tongan coach, Kristian Woolf. He has got them firing as world beaters, so has some ability.
