Mitchell is also mates with potential Tigers teammates Luke Garner and Paul Momirovski from their days at the Roosters and Wyong.
This article is a bit ridiculous. I don't know what makes these names are a positive for Latrell to go to the Tigers. So what about the U/20s Blues team that gelled so well in 2015. None of the names mentioned in that team have shown they are worth a squirt of piss. I think Momirovski and in particular Luke Garner are solid players, but i doubt they go into the positive list of reasons to move to a club- the neutral list is more suitable.

I don't want Latrell to leave but part of me is dying to see him play under Michael Maguire who is a total disciplinarian and fitness Nazi. No player at Souths were too disappointed when Maguire got booted at the end of 2017 and no job offers headed his way either. I can see it go 2 ways for Latrell at the Tigers with Maguire- a monumental hit with him being super fit and motivated- or a monumental disaster with him being worn out physically and mentally

Oh well that's footy, Players leave and new / younger players get their opportunity. I am looking forward to what Billy Smith has to offer over the next season he's just as big and strong as Latrell but faster.

Doubt if he would be faster than Lattrell. Lats never gets run down when the afterburners engaged.

But Billy has some growing to do and I can see him becoming a tall strapping type of centre who will be hard to handle in his own right.

Have played and coached footy for the last 46 years, I have coached players who's interests were completely different to the rest of their team mates yet were some of the best team players I've had anything to do with. They always contributed at training and on the field, they didn't need to get plastered with the rest of their team mates to be great team players. Mateship is over rated when it comes to a team, as long as they respect each other and work for each other at training and on game day I don't care if they don't socialise together.

When he was as good as gone, we still had money and time to resign Tetevano, who wanted to bleed Red White and Blue, but we rejected him.

It will be interesting to see what happens when we have a center who plays 80 minutes in a game as opposed to someone who has 2 minutes of brilliance and 78 minutes of getting lost in the backs. What a difference it would have been if he would get involved like Tupou, who in my opinion was the most consistent player for us in 2019

Surely if Latrell is not in the future plans of the club anymore they could find space in the cap to keep Tetavano. I don’t think he has signed with anyone else yet.

Latrell will always be in my best roosters 13 I have seen, be it if he was only here for a few seasons, so will Cronk and SBW, these players don’t come around too often and have only improved the club, shame to see him leave.

                    This.
Apparently Latrell's going to Townsville to chat with the Cowboys and Johnathon Thurston's picking him up from the airport. Hope they have a real heart to heart. Reckon JT would have Latrell's happiness as his number one priority, albeit he'd like him to come to the Cowboys.
Sounds like the club feels disrespected by Latrell, but gee, if there's a 1% chance of him staying (at the price we offered), I hope we're not too proud to keep the porch light on and the key under the mat.

I didn’t think I would ever see a player replace Harris or brass as greatest rooster centres until Latrell played for us. A superstar. No doubt.

i cannot understand how he is wired but appreciate his talent and excitement he produced. Thank you

                        Screw all this.
Mitchell is contracted to play for us next season.

Maybe latrell would be better talking to daniel Ricardo ,about changing from a competitive team to being in a team not being in the finals ,the extra money won't mean jack shit

Hold him to it and give him a season to break his new deal

I am pretty sure Ricciardo's two year $70 million contract is worth a little more than "jack shit" to him.

Six months from now, I won't even remember how to spell his name correctly. Just another former Rooster.
