Anyone got any news, updates or inside info on whats happening? I drive past 4 times a day and there hasn't been any action for months. The State Government couldn't get the old one down fast enough before the election and then nothing....just chirping crickets and tumbleweed.

Wasn't this Alan Jones pet project? Earlier in the year he was a man possessed in pushing for a new one to be built but now seems to have 'forgotten" it.

Wouldn't the money tied up in this be project be handy for our struggling farmers now

It's looking like we will be at the SCG for longer than the next two seasons.

The last I heard of it was that interview between the Sports Minister and Mini. I, too, am resigned to the fact that we are likely to be at the SCG for at least another season. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it drags on into the year after that. I hope that some modifications can be considered in order to make the members' and fans' viewing and general matchday experience better, such as improving big screen size and/or location.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Over the back end of the season I got used to the SCG again. I can live with it for a little while longer as it is a 10 minute less walk from my home to where I sit

John Holland are currently building a 300 bed Max security jail at my work. They are months ahead of.schedule and seem very professional in every way

I drive with my family from the lower Blue Mountains to each game. Fuel, tolls, parking and a family silver membership ..not the cheapest of things to do. Also for people travelling like me with kids, next years draw/ time of games is horrendous

I just hope whoever gets it doesn't do so on the basis that they offered the "least watered down" version to accommodate the governments budget.

This is what i'm expecting....anything less is a scandal!!

I am a member of SCG. This update from the CEO

                              STADIUM CLUB & SFS REDEVELOPMENT
The government has progressed the planning application for the new stadium and is seeking finalisation before the end of the year. At the same time, the tender process is being finalised and the government is seeking to award the tender by year end. We look forward to sharing more details as these come to hand.

The members facilities will form part of the stadium footprint generating a vibrancy to the club with the adjacency to the action. The facilities will be fully self funded by the Trust’s debt facilities.

When you’re here during the summer, you will get a good view of the construction site from the Noble Bradman level 3 atrium or level 4 rooftop, and will gain appreciation of the extent of work that’s been completed as part of the demolition.
