  • Emerging Roosters players

Pre-season starts next week and 9 of the squad are yet to play NRL.

All 9 are either 19 or 20 years old, with all but 1 being given an opportunity to move up from Flegg and play at least a few games for the Bears in the 2019 season.

Fletcher Baker (second row) 1999 - 14 Bears
Egan Butcher (second row) 2000 - 6 Bears and 5 Flegg
Asu Kepaoa (wing) 2000 - 14 Bears and 1 Flegg
Freddy Lussick (hooker) 2000 - 4 Bears and 19 Flegg
Luca Moretti (second row) 2000 - 2 Bears and 21 Flegg
    Edenn Rogers-Smith (front row) 1999 - 1 Bears
    Daniel Suluka-Fifita (front row) 1999 - 8 Bears and 15 Flegg
    Christian Tuipulotu (centre) 2000 - 10 Flegg
Lupe Tivalu (front row) 1999 - 1 Bears and 15 Flegg

Look out for Fletcher Baker, Egan Butcher, Asu Kepaoa and Freddy Lussick who all showed plenty of promise in their games for the Bears during the season.

Thanks for taking the time to do some research on the unknowns.
Hopefully there are a few first graders there.

Opportunities? More money. At least he has made that pretty clear.

Thanks girvie for taking the time and going to the trouble of putting this list together. It is always nice to see at least one local junior in there. I for one will certainly keep an eye out for them while trying to watch more Flegg and North Sydney games next season.
              MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Christian Tuipulotu is the most interesting for me.
When they announced his signing with the photo of him with Latrell (I think it was) who he was bigger than I thought wow.

Yeah and his first year with us was extremely underwhelming, was probably the least impressive of all our 20s three quarters. Pompey came with those sort of wraps as well.
