The paranoia over South's on here over the past few weeks has become embarassing.
    This is pretty much it.

And Souths are (at least) as paranoid about us.

Who gives a fark what Souffs are doing. 1 premiership in 48 years, we just doubled that in the space of 12 months. Give me a break.

      They're irrelevant.

I don't know if I'm going deaf in my old age but I couldn't understand a word Latrell was saying on Channel 9 tonight. On another note, how pregnant does Jayne Azzopardi look? Like she's smuggling that deer they saved from the fires.

Remember this classic pre 2018 GF interview.....

          https://www.themorningbulletin.com.a...-not-/3532492/

Latrell has been awesome for the Roosters since coming into first grade- a very special player who has managed to own plenty of the big moments-like that flick pass that set up the 2019 GF winning try. Theres no reason why his team mates would want him to leave. Contract negotiations are between the player and the club- nothing to do with team mates.
A little nieve here Random. Nobody, not even an upfront man like Keary is going to talk negatively and publicly about a guy contracted to their club. Luke is not dumb.

We’ll see a shrink together and split the cost.

Also think that quote about playing centre becoming a chore should be a massive red flag for any team looking to sign him long term.
I agree with your opening comment. I hate when they come out and say it’s not about the money.

                Fingers crossed he stays .
maybe Trent should let him know that when he's not busy he could help others out with there chores

I don’t share the same amount of hate for Souths that some on here do. They are just another team I enjoy watching our team beat.

It sounds like you are still somewhere between the first and second stages of grief. Maybe you could jump in on the group counseling with Thirteen roostersrule2 ?
                  ..it’ll be interesting to see

Nobody is gonna say they wanna get rid of Latrell coz frankly... he's a good bloke and a good player.

The only reason people are getting butt-hurt on here is that he's a really good player who ANYBODY woulda want on their team. No NRL player wants to play against him.

Let's not forget that Latrell was secretly meeting with the Bulldogs during our finals run.

To some players - whose attitude was that of being "ALL IN" - that would be viewed as unforgivable.

I imagine a bloke like Boyd Cordner who gives his heart and soul, it'd be hard for him to trust Latrell again on the footy field. Especially after he dogged it in a Kangaroos jersey vs Tonga, too.

When he says it’s a chore playing centre it illustrates the problem with his attitude. Surely he could just go looking for more involvement and make it a bit more interesting for himself. I’m sure his teammates would appreciate the help.

Good to hear from the horse's mouth instead of media and social media speculation.
I hope he stays beyond 2020, but the money may have already been spent.
Hope he isn't been used as a pawn by Fat Richo, Phonechucker and Bennett to cause shiite for us.

The part where he says he was in the pub and heard the news about the contract being pulled is weird. You would think his manager would have informed him before it was made public. He went on to say it felt like a kick in the teeth which is making the Roosters look like the bad guys.
A lot of what he said had double meanings. I really don’t think he got the fact that when he met with Robbo, that was the Roosters final offer. I think he probably does want to stay but I think it may be too late. I don’t know but I think this interview is another big mistake on his part. He should have just kept his mouth shut, gone back to the Roosters for another meeting to try and sort it out.
Given this has dragged on a while, why didn't he mention hearing about it in the pub much earlier?

I say he's being coached a bit of role play by his entourage

We know Robbo's cred would have ensured the player & his management receive official notice first and foremost.

Watching the interview all I could think was this is a bad break up getting worse by the day.

I don’t know Uncle Nick or Trent personally but I would expect they wouldn’t be be too thrilled about being painted as the men standing in his way and the bad guys who kicked him in the teeth by pulling the contract offer.

Latrell doesn’t seem to understand that just as he has a right to look elsewhere the Roosters have every right to pull their offer.

If Latrell feels as if he has to point out how much the Roosters is a home to him then maybe he hasn’t done enough in recent times to show the Roosters he loves the place and the jersey. Players who love the place focus on staying not where the better deal might be.

I would have loved him to stay but the relationship is over and will only get worse if he stays around until the better offer comes along.
