      NO!

I want our Grand Final-winning 'lethal left side' + Teddy back in business.
      No Latrell, it's stuffed.
It's stuffed, and our chance of the triple crown is stuffed too.

No Latrell [we already don't have a halfback who's played first grade regularly, let alone Cronk], no hope.

Powers that be need to see the light too.

You'll think it is falling when the points dry up.
The powerbrokers need to see that without Latrell there'll be no glory come Sept/Oct.

I'm going to put the "Glum" hat on...rare for me. But I can't see the Bowers that pee letting us win a 3 peat.

            They seriously would be devastated...sorry.

I can't think of an indigenous player now or over the years of whom I was not a huge fan. From the uncanny ball playing of Cliff Lyons to the silky running style of Peachey and, indeed our own Rod Siva. (Probably wise to give Clive a mention club notwithstanding). Undeniably, 'Trell is/was something special too but I think that the enormous ask, the Merc, the secret Canterbury feelers (was that before the Robbo chat) and the company he keeps marked him as a threat to cohesion and harmony within the club to the point where is now dispensable - they don't want him and the approach to the Wolfpack (if it wasn't fake news) and the casually dropped line that he'd be playing for the Bears indicate a level of determination to see him off. I think that the die is cast. I would be very surprised to see him back and I also think that the whole trauma (the "kick in the teeth") will cast him into a mental state that will seriously affect his game anywhere that he ends up.

We have zero chance without Latrell.
If the club now hates him...gee you don't have to do much 'wrong'...and wants him
gone forever...they should just tell us it's a rebuilding year so we can stay home when it's raining and not deal with anything that doesn't suit us.

And here I was thinking that we were the club of second chances.
Looks like there's no second chance for Latrell.
                    I feel so foolish.

well bondi boy, if thats the way you feel , foolish for supporting this club after back to back , there are 15 other clubs who im sure you will feel prouder to support.

I really believe that Keary was 100% truthful in his answer......but if i'm wrong then ill stand corrected.

What does everyone else here think? Was Keary throwing a dummy in his answer?

Getting the B2B was nothing short of a miracle. Notwithstanding the ability and strength of the last 2 seasons team(s), but the amount of things you need to go your way to win one comp let alone 2 in a row is incredulous.

I'm all for having a red hot crack every year, (so is Nick and Robbo) but I feel silly now having hope back in the dark times (05 to 09 for example) that we may have had a shot. It wasn't until 2013 that I learnt what it really took to win a comp.

Remember the traumatized ghosts of "6 again" are far from "crossing over" (perhaps they need a Jennifer Love Hewitt/Jon Edwards intervention to help) and the level of on field scrutiny next season is going to make 2014 look like a walk in the ****ing park.

I hope we get right up there and freak them all the hell out, but losing cronk and possibly latrell might dampen our chances. Don't believe we have zero chance but, the chooks are in a good state atm and if the defense can maintain, we should be top 4, again.

                            GO EASTS

There's definitely some polish to their answers, but the media is all about shock, adulation and outrage so they are always making more of the negative.
