Latrell and the team of wombats he has chosen to surround himself with all suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect.

We all know he was a shit hot sprinter in his earlier years but with a young family and promising legal career, I think ism22 might be a bit too busy to come play for us.
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

Talent between the ears is just as important as athletic talent with the footy.

Freddy and Teddy had/have both. Latrell sadly seems to be distinctly lacking in the head department, i.e. his work ethic.

I'd also rate Keary a more complete player than Latrell when you factor in the mental side of the game. Luke is a 3x Premiership winner and is on course to be one of the all time greats.

Lattrell's mistake was taking advice from an overrated hack like Mundane.

You need to be rated to be overrated.

Oh, he's rated alright - very, very highly. Just ask him - he'll tell you!

It's really, really sad. I wanted Latrell to be a club legend. So much talent. The kids and fans love him. You wait for him to do something everytime he touches the ball. He's a young aboriginal man from the bush and I don't think he sees footy as his number one priority. He knows he's good and he knows it can make him money and set up his family. He's also very naive and immature and sadly has been taken advantage of by greedy, self interested managers and hangers on.

Unfortunately the club had to let him go. Even if Nick and Trent were ready to give him a second chance, that interview was the last straw. I have a very heavy heart.

I like the way he can summarise a sentence into 5 decent paragraphs.

Ha that’s great - no offence Ism but he is spot on here - you have written a couple of entertaining posts lately but wow often I read the first and last para of your posts. Must be the lawyer in you - do you get paid by the word on here?

And the clincher was when he said he found playing centre for the Roosters "a chore". Maybe it was just a very bad choice of words, but Robbo and Nick would have hated that.

I got a lot of enjoyment watching Latrell playing for the Roosters & I will be sad to see him go.
For me he will still be a top player in the NRL playing at another club, he’s a born footy player & has skills that not many players have.
                              Go the mighty ROOSTERS.

If you watch us play when keary was out for few weeks with concussion you will form a different view of Lattrell’s value to the team.
in no way am I belittling his contributions over the last 2+ seasons, but just reminding fans such as yourself and that Bondi boy that all is not lost if he leaves, we are still an above average team with an excellent chance to three peat.
