Don't lump me in with Bondi Boy you silly old bastard! I do have eyes and I do watch all of our matches. Luke Keary is superb. I love him. Our entire structure and style of play does not flow without Keary. Nobody is going to convince me that Latrell Mitchell is anything other than a brilliant game breaking centre.

Therein lies the problem - he wants to play FB. Playing centre is a 'chore'. The fact he is more suited to centre and unsuited to FB is something that Latrell currently just cannot accept. He will have to find that out the hard way at another club.

The Chooks will recover from the loss of Latrell when he goes. Will be interesting to see if Latrell recovers from the loss of the Roosters and the support they have provided.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

On the plus side for you if it does, you can harp on again about how we should have a Polynesian fullback who can drop kick it 70 metres.
This centre was not just any old centre, but a vital cog in our 'lethal left side'. Pear-shaped will follow, no doubt.
As well, we don't have a halfback .

We just gave away our/NRL leading pointscorer 2019...ridiculous.
See any other clubs doing dumb things like that.

The cup, only just in the cabinet, and the win has been soured/tarnished by this.

More like Polynesian player with strong enough legs to kick goals from the sideline/far out from the posts.

I hope it all works out well for us, but I fear it won't.

I agree with these sentiments Novice. Latrell may very well get found out quite glaringly when he moves elsewhere. I certainly don't wish any ill will towards him, and I am sure most people on here genuinely wouldn't either, but I do believe he has made a monumental mistake, which he seems to be starting to understand the gravity of already.

The Roosters will recover, of course, although it may take a bit longer than it has in the past (e.g. with RTS). Hopefully, we will be thereabouts again next season.

Latrell, we will miss you, despite the mixture of emotions you have generated.
            MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Looks like the national anthem is going to be banned/cancelled from the All Stars game.

Oh well...just another part of our culture gone.

                      A question for you, my friend;

How much of our [Australia's] culture are you prepared to give up/see abolished?

                      The anthem?
                      The Flag?
                      The Constitution?
Our legal system? [in favour of two legal systems]
                      Australia Day?

I would argue Keary's absence highlighted a clear lack of ball playing depth in the squad without Keary. You can't blame a centre in the modern day game if there's no quality in distribution or direction. Billy Smith will be no different if we can't get him quality ball.

The biggest hole Latrell leaves is that little bit of individual brilliance that he can bring to any game no matter the level, ala the flick pass only a couple months back on the biggest stage of all.

Would give up the Athem in a flash
Would consider removing the union Jack from the flag , leave the southern cross
Would consider changes to the constitution to be more inclusive.
Not change the legal system in fact make it stricter.
                                No way change Australia Day
