If Latrell was really thinking he will be fullback anywhere, he would be working his butt off right now, but from all the info we are getting, he's just having a larf of a time. If he goes to souffs, I hope Bennett gives him the fullback position cause it will be fun all around.

Bennett said I have 2 centres, but he didn't say he wouldn't sign Latrell as a fullback. Given Latrell finds centre a chore and wants to play fullback, Bennett can hide behind that difference or say Richardson signed him despite Bennett's comment....I reckon souths is still the likely outcome !

Yeah, Bennett is the master of not giving anything away to the media so maybe he's just trying to get L's asking price down. But he didn't just say he had enough centres, he was reported as also saying that L wouldn't be coming to Souths. I mean I'm not saying he's not going to Souths, but I don't think it's a done deal.

Latrell is one great centre but and should realize that and play to his strengths.

Yes and TBH we have said quite the contrary. Friend, Cords and Robbo are all on the record as saying he's a great bloke who they hope will stay.

The only people who have spoken from the Roosters were Robbo, Boyd, Luke and Jake. Not one of them had a negative word to say about Latrell. Robbo in fact speaks in glowing terms. In his last interview just over a week ago Robbo stated that Latrell was a good man and in the middle of making a decision which might indicate the door has been left ajar. Robbo didn’t have to do that interview. If Latrell was really on the nose I think Robbo wouldn’t have said anything at all. Time will tell but I get the impression that there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes that we are not privy to. Meaning the Roosters might still be open to negotiations. We’ll see. Just going by what Robbo said leaves the impression there is a big chance Latrell might stay. If he does stay he won’t be playing for the Bears. Not when the coach has started in a TV interview that Latrell is a GREAT player.

All this bad blood between Latrell and the club is being twisted by the media. Latrell said that playing centre is a chore is just him being honest but he has not dissed the club at this stage and those speaking officially on behalf of the club have been very respectful. Only Mitchell & the club know the whole truth so if he is stuck with us and the truth is that there is still a good relationship then he will be playing his role in 2020 for a premiership.
