Seriously? Did you miss the media release that started all this where the Roosters announced they were withdrawing their offer? You see, that means there is no offer of a contract and therefore he won’t be staying. What more do you want than that? How about the interview where Robbo said “we have to move on from Latrell”. Pretty sure those where the exact words.

As reported in many papers and Internet .
My feeling is if it was not true the club would have publicly condemned it and made a statement to that effect.
They did not so I take there silence as confirmation.Last edited by Rooster1908; 12-28-2019, 03:21 PM.

Agree with that but I think if there was constant media speculation about one of your employees being released and told there was no room beyond 2020 and would like to release them in 2020 then a representive of the club would come out in denial of the speculation , but not a word , but I'm guessing some will never be convinced ,

Yeah yeah, we all saw that. The Daily Telegraph at its finest with not one substantial quote from anyone from the Roosters. Time will tell. At the moment he is contracted for next year. Don't believe everything you read in the papers, especially that one.
Face it he’s gone. Life goes on though and we still have a quality team so need to be a sad Sack.

Meh, I've accepted that Latrell will never play in the RWB again. I just hope, forlornly, that he won't play for the Bunnies.
But as great as Latrell is, he's still a centre.
The Storm lost Folau and GI but seemed to do just fine because they realised that on the field it's the spine and the forward pack that will define your success by far the most.
The Cowboys won a Grand Final a few years ago with a centre pairing of Justin O'Neill & Kane Linnett. Ewww...
The likes of Ricky Leutele, Kirsome Auva'a and Dane Nielsen have also won Premierships in the past few years.
So a potential centre pairing of Joey Manu - whose easily the 2nd best centre in the game - and a young gun like Billy Smith still shapes up as the best in the league.
Beyond that we still have the best coach, best player, best winger, best half/5-8, best 2nd rower, arguably two best props, a superstar young lock, and two brilliant hookers, so yeah... it's time to stop worrying about what we've lost and remember what we've got.

I simply do not know what is going to happen, but I also try to be an optimist, and be very thankful with the team, personnel and culture that we have at our club - quite simply, the envy of the league!MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Well according to the media it should all be sorted by Tuesday. Of course that deadline was never a quote by anyone. Just something one of the News/DT journos heard in their head.

If it isn't then it will be interesting to see what other spin they put out. He will be due at training the following Monday if he hasn't signed elsewhere by then.
